Metonymy Press was recognized with two nominations, both for best transgender fiction.

\nThe jury, consisting of booksellers, book reviewers, librarians, authors, academics, and previous Lammy winners and finalists, selected Small Beauty<\/em> by jia qing wilson-yang and Fierce Femmes and Notorious Liars: A Dangerous Trans Girl\u2019s Confabulous Memoir<\/em> by Kai Cheng Thom alongside Meredith Russo\u2019s If I Was Your Girl<\/em> (Flatiron Books).
