She Is Sitting in the Night makes its official debut

Metonymy’s first title, She Is Sitting in the Night, was officially launched in Montreal on Sunday, April 26th at Notre Dame Des Quilles. Despite the rainy Sunday night, more than fifty people attended the event. The crowd responded well to Oliver Pickle and Rima Athar’s discussion of the the book project’s history, and audience members asked a number of engaged and thoughtful questions. A great article was written by Hermia Swann about the event for the Little Red Tarot blog. Thanks to Jackson Ezra for taking photos and to everyone who helped make the event happen and came out to support us. Stay tuned for further events in and outside of Montreal, including one with Thea’s Tarot creator Ruth West in attendance!

Metonymy stands in solidarity with Canada Post workers on strike! Find out the latest news and ways to show your support via the union's website.

Throughout the duration of the strike, we will not be shipping orders that would otherwise be transported by Canada Post. That means any web orders to addresses within Canada, but off the island of Montreal, will be on hold until the strike ends. We will continue to ship to addresses in the United States as well as offer local pickup and delivery for Montreal orders.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.
